GEO toolEntity consistency checker: do your pages agree on who you are?
AI assistants describe your business by stitching together what your own pages, schema and listings say. When those disagree on your name, category, founding year or contact details, answers hedge or repeat the wrong version. Paste your pages to find the contradictions. Nothing is uploaded.

Paste the pages that describe your business
For each page, press Ctrl+U (or ⌥⌘U on a Mac) to view the source, select all and paste. The homepage is required; the about page and app listing make the check much stronger. Nothing is uploaded.

Fix first
How do I make AI describe my brand consistently?
Use one exact brand name everywhere, describe what you do in the same sentence on your homepage, about page, schema and store listings, list every official profile in Organization sameAs, and keep one email, phone, founding year and location across all of them. Then earn mentions on other sites that repeat the same facts.
The method, in the open.
Each page is parsed in an inert document in your browser. From each one the checker reads the Organization (or LocalBusiness) JSON-LD, og:site_name, the title, the meta description, profile links, mailto: and tel: links, and the visible text.
- Brand name (weight 3): every name source compared after removing case, punctuation and suffixes like Ltd or Inc. Names in
alternateNameare allowed. - What you do (3): word overlap between the homepage description and each other description. Under 10% overlap fails: they describe different businesses.
- Organization markup, sameAs profiles, contact details and founding year and location (2 each): missing markup or profiles warn; two email domains, two phone numbers or two founding years fail.
- Official URL and brand named in the copy (1 each).
The app listing is read as plain text and checked for your exact brand name, a matching description and the same email domain.
What the numbers look like.
Using the sample brand. Acme Growth calls itself "Acme Growth" in its title and og:site_name but "Acme Growth Labs" in its schema. The schema describes "mobile marketing and paid user acquisition" while the page says app store optimization. The schema says founded 2021, the about page says 2019. The about page lists team@acmegrowth.com, the app listing support@acmegrowth.io, and the app is called "AcmeGrowth Toolkit". X and YouTube are linked but missing from sameAs. Each of these is a one-line fix, and together they give assistants one story to repeat.
What this is based on
- In a study of 75,000 brands, branded web mentions correlated 0.664 with ChatGPT visibility and 0.656 with AI Overviews; the authors stress this is correlation, not causation. Ahrefs
- Organization markup (name, url, logo, sameAs, contact details, foundingDate) helps Google understand your organization and tell it apart from others; use the same name as your site name. Google Search Central
- Google picks a site name from the WebSite structured data, og:site_name, the title and headings, so consistent signals matter. Google Search Central
What it does not tell you
- It only compares what you paste. Third-party profiles such as LinkedIn, Wikipedia, Crunchbase or review sites aren't fetched; check those by hand against the same facts.
- Description matching is word overlap, not meaning. Two accurate descriptions in different words can score low; read the flagged pair before rewriting.
- Founding year and location in plain text are found by patterns like "founded in 2019" and "based in Pune", and can miss unusual phrasing.
- Consistency is a foundation, not a ranking factor on its own. The Ahrefs correlations describe mentions across the web, which this tool can't measure.
Questions people ask.
What is an entity in SEO and AI search?
A distinct thing, such as your company, that search engines and AI models can identify and attach facts to: what it is, what it does, where it is, and which profiles belong to it.
Why does consistency matter for AI answers?
Assistants combine many sources. If your own pages give two founding years or two descriptions, they may hedge, merge you with another company, or repeat the wrong one.
Do I need Organization schema?
It isn't required, but it is the clearest place to state your official name, logo, profiles and contacts in one block, and Google says it helps tell you apart from others.
Why include my app store listing?
For apps, the store listing is often the most-read description of your brand, and Google Play's AI features also read the developer's website. The two should agree.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Everything is parsed in your browser and never sent to our servers.
