App Store screenshot sizes for 2026: what Apple actually requires.
Apple lists more than forty accepted pixel sizes, but you only have to upload two sets. Here is which two, what every other size falls back to, and the full table from App Store Connect.
App Store screenshot sizes look intimidating in Apple's table, but the rule underneath is simple: provide the required sizes, and App Store Connect scales them down for every smaller device. Here is the full list as of October 2026.

Apple now labels iPhone sizes by display type rather than inches. The inch sizes in brackets are our shorthand for the most common devices in each group.

Landscape sizes are the same numbers swapped. Apple also lists sizes for older 4-inch and 3.5-inch phones, which fall back the same way.
Apple has added two new iPhone Duo sizes (outer 1398 × 2034, inner 2007 × 2853). Apple says screenshots for them will be required from April 2027 for apps built with the iOS 27.1 SDK or later.

Mac, Apple TV, Vision Pro and Apple Watch
- Mac: 16:10, one of 1280 × 800, 1440 × 900, 2560 × 1600 or 2880 × 1800.
- Apple TV: 1920 × 1080 or 3840 × 2160.
- Apple Vision Pro: 3840 × 2160.
- Apple Watch: one size used consistently across all localizations, from 422 × 514 (Ultra 3 and 4) down to 312 × 390 (Series 1 to 3).
What to put in the first three
Apple notes that the first one to three screenshots appear in search results when no app preview is available. Treat them as your ad: one benefit per frame, large readable captions, and the real interface. If you test variants, use product page optimization.
